Acquire the SAAF system and make an investment in safety, agility and organization which leads to savings that ensure an excellent cost/benefit ratio.
With the SAAF all the supply process including reading of the supply, identification of the vehicle and reading of the odometer and hour meter can be done quickly and automatically.
Each drop of your fuel will have the correct destination through a complete and safe system of anti-fraud automation developed with IONICS technology.
Generate reports which, besides being of paramount importance for the daily control of operations, will also support you in strategic decision-making related to your business.
The SAAF (Automated Fleet Supply System) ensures savings and safety because it controls accurately all the fuel consumed. The system facilitates and controls all the operation in a quick and accurate manner where, in a few steps, it is capable of validating, monitoring and recording the supply, whether on the road or in the field.
Driver parks beside the pump and requests supply.
The operator identifies the driver and itself in the microterminal by card or ID and inserts the password.
The Automated Nozzle is positioned by the operator at the tank input and identifies the vehicle through the reading of the VID (Vehicle Identifier Device).
The TX Module installed in the vehicle captures in an automatic manner the information of the odometer or hour meter and sends it through radio frequency to Base 2.4GHz.
With the supply authorized, the fuel flow is released by the control of activation of pumps and the Operator starts the supply.
At the end, the supply is recorded in the SAAF the information being available for inquiry through reports.
The driver parks beside the fuel truck.
The Automated Nozzle is positioned by the operator at the tank input and the vehicle is identified through the reading of the VID.
The data for release of the supply is inserted in the terminal.
The terminal automatically reads the odometer and hour meter of the vehicle sent by radio frequency by the TX Module.
With the supply authorized the fuel flow is released.
At the end, the data recorded in the supply is printed on the ticket.
With the different scopes you choose how much you intend to automate your supply acquiring the ideal solution in accordance with your requirements.
SAAF solution with manual identification of the Attendant and Vehicle
In this first SAAF solution level it is possible to execute the automatic record of volumes supplied, identify vehicles, as well as attendants/drivers by password and/or card with bar code. The vehicles and drivers are recognized through a numerical password and/or card with bar code in a microterminal arranged beside the supply pump.
SAAF Solution with automated Vehicle identification
At this second level, it is possible to identify vehicles automatically using an VID (Vehicle Identifier Device) device. VIDs are devices fixed to the inside of the mouth of the fuel tank of each vehicle, which, in turn, is recognized by the Special AVI Nozzle Reader.
Complete SAAF solution with automated Vehicle identification and Telemetry
At this third solution level, it is possible to identify vehicles automatically and also to take an automatic reading of odometers / hour meters using the Telemetry system, ensuring more reliable and secure information.
Regardless of whether the SAAF solution is scope 1, 2 or 3, in addition to the SAAF features at the fueling station and at the rear, IONICS has developed Truck Terminal, equipment installed onto fueling trucks that take fuel to the field, where vehicles and machines require fueling.
In addition to controlling and ensuring the consumption of data and fueling of the vehicle/machine automatically, the Truck Terminal is also used to obtain and store other various information inserted into it during the pit stop. A reduction in the pit stop time by around 35% has already been observed. As a contingency measure, the fueling can also be released using the keyboard, if configured.
There are many market segments that have a fleet (their own or outsourced) of vehicles and/or machines in operation, and which are already enjoying the advantages and benefits provided by the IONICS Truck Terminal. These segments include:
Built to operate in harsh environments, 24 hours a day, the Truck Terminal is secure, responsive to data, and robust. Below are some of the technical features of the Terminal:
