The SAAF (Automated Fleet Supply System) ensures savings and safety because it accurately controls all fuel consumed. The system facilitates and controls all the operation in a quick and accurate way and, in just a few steps, it can validate, monitor and record the supplies. How can you control mobile fueling performed by fuel trucks? With that in mind, IONICS created the SAAF T850, the most complete, robust solution in the market

Characteristics

  • The equipment is robust, and shake, extreme weather and temperature-resistant

  • Data transmission through USB interface, 2.4 Ghz radio and GPRS/3G

  • Controlled ticket printing, with equipment, fueling date and time, fueled volume, type of fuel and hour meter/odometer data. It is possible to set up printed content to manage own and third-party fleet

  • It is possible to liberate fuel flow only in preset geographic areas. (electronic fence)

  • The fuel flow locks itself automatically according to the maximum capacity of the tank or share supply

  • Lubrication control

  • Liberation of the fuel flow only for allowed machines or vehicles

  • Integration with ERPs and expert systems using web services

  • Accuracy in records

STEP BY STEP
Learn how the SAAF works in mobile fueling performed by fuel trucks

Step 1

The driver parks beside the fuel truck

Step 2

The Automated Nozzle is positioned by the operator at the tank input and the vehicle is identified through the reading of the VID

Step 3

The data for release of the supply is inserted in the terminal

Step 4

The terminal automatically reads the odometer and hour meter of the vehicle sent by radio frequency by the TX Module

Step 5

With the supply authorized the fuel flow is released

Finishing

At the end, the data recorded in the supply is printed on the ticket

The SAAF is a modular and scalable solution. You can automate the supply structure of your company's fleet gradually.

Level 1

Automation of bombs and supply nozzles

In this first level, the pumps and supply nozzles are automated with the SAAF solution. By doing so, it is possible to liberate the fuel flow only for allowed vehicles and machines. With the SAAF it is possible to register the supplied volumes automatically, identify vehicles, as well as attendants/drivers, using a password and/or RFID tags

Level 2

Automation of pumps, nozzles, vehicles and machines

In this second level, besides the pumps and supply nozzles, vehicles and machines are automated with the SAAF. Vehicle Identifier Devices (VIDs) are fixed to the inside of the tank input of each vehicle. This, in turn, ensures that the liberation of the fuel flow will only occur inside of tanks identified with DIVs authorized by the company

In this level it is possible to use the IONICS Telemetry system for hour meter/odometer automatic reading
